About the festival

The brightest traditions, colorful costumes, delicious cuisine, and vibrant dances — all of this is “Etno Fest Taraclia”, a celebration where every culture reveals its authentic beauty and invites visitors to become part of its story.

For more than two decades, the festival has been an important part of the region’s cultural life.

It brings together participants and guests from Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, and Hungary through concerts, workshops, crafts, and gastronomy.

We are proud to announce that the festival is included for the first time in the national cultural-tourism program of the Republic of Moldova — Agenda “Pomul Vieții” 2026, recognizing its contribution to preserving traditions and promoting intercultural dialogue.

This year’s anniversary edition of “Etno Fest Taraclia” will take place on September 19, 2026, in the city of Taraclia.

When and where will Etno Fest Taraclia 2025 take place?

Yes, the festival will feature a food court where you can enjoy a variety of dishes and beverages. You can also taste and purchase traditional treats from local producers in the “Avenue of Local Flavors.”
4. What areas will be at the festival?
The festival will include: ● Courtyard Zone – ethnic areas showcasing the traditions of different cultures; ● Workshops for adults and children – crafts, creativity, and interactive activities; ● Literary Zone – meetings with authors and book presentations; ● Main Stage – concerts and performances by artistic groups; ● Artisans & Local Producers Zone – handmade products; ● Avenue of Local Flavors – food and beverages from local producers; ● Food Court – hot meals and drinks.
5. Will there be parking near the festival?
Yes, parking zones will be available near the Central Square. Spaces are limited, so we recommend arriving early.
6. How to become a festival volunteer?
Fill out the application form on the website by September 10th. Volunteers help with organization, guest navigation, and receive certificates of appreciation.
